Well it wasn't a great fishing day but I was just out riding around and scoping out some new areas without my boat. I threw a few rods in the back and planned on fishing the Sipsey to see if I could find a few of those rare Alabama rainbow trout but the water was high and rolling. I had no luck there so I went up to the launch above Smith Lake dam and made a few casts. I only caught one little spotted bass but at least it was nice to get a bite!
