I decided to see what I could find on the Coosa below Jordan dam one day and I was pretty happy with the results. Sure having a boat is great but I grew up bank fishing and I still love doing it, and it's hard to beat fishing below a dam a lot of the time. It can be a lot less hassle than dealing with a boat and all that. I just walked the bank near where the small boat/kayak launch is below the dam and caught most of my fish, and all the good ones on an Azuma ShakerZ.
