Well the season ended a lot like it began.. motor problems, tsunamis and going home without cashing another check. On day one my boater and I speared a 5-foot wave right in the belly as we were taking off and we went from 100% dry to 100% wet in a split second. That'll wake you up!

For the two days in this tournament I fished clean but didn't have enough bites and fell short of a limit or a check. I didn't expect to cash a ton of checks that season but that doesn't mean I didn't want to! We had motor issues on both days that really limited our fishing abilities and it just wasn't in the cards. It was a tough season with quite a few challenges but I definitely learned some things and met some great people. Overall I had a good time, it's just my pocket that didn't have as much fun.
